In Austria, two products will initially be available from the end of January, "planted. chicken Natur" and "planted. chicken Kräuter & Zitrone". Outside of Spar, the start-up's products can also be found in their own online shop. The founders are already very satisfied with their market entry in Germany and Switzerland: "Our success in Switzerland and Germany shows that we are right on trend with our products. The consumption of meat substitute products has experienced an enormous upswing in the past months due to the COVID-19 pandemic", says Pascal Bieri. Since Austria is also currently in a lockdown, the new products could also experience a similar development in this country.
