Pssst spoiler alert: probably the favourite product amongst our employees! Not only because it’s the most protein diverse product in the market but also due to its extra sustainable factor (the used sunflower protein comes from the sunflower press cake which is a waste stream from sunflower oil production). Combining sunflowers and peas by design leads to a nutritionally very diverse product, that on top of it all is insanely juicy. Naturally, we add a healthy dose of vitamin B12 through fermentation. Our first whole-cut, the planted.schnitzel sets a new standard. It is a true Wiener schnitzel, thin with crispy breading, developed together with the world-famous FiglmĂĽller schnitzel restaurant in Vienna. And yes, of course they also serve it in their restaurants themselves! The meat itself is made with sunflowers, oats as well as peas. Naturally, we add a healthy dose of vitamin B12 through fermentation. Our planted.schnitzel is best enjoyed standalone next to some potatoes or whatever hearty sides you desire or also as main ingredient of your sandwich.Â
