Chimichurri sauce for planted.steak

Ingredients

red wine vinegar

small red onion, fin chopped

garlic clove

red chili w/o seeds, chopped
4 tbsp
chopped parsley
2 tbsp
chopped thyme
1 tbsp
chopped Oregano
2 tsp
salt
1/2
lemonzest

Preparation

  1. Prepare and weigh all the ingredients.
Assemble
  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon.
Steak Preparation
  1. Take the steak out of the bag and pat dry with a papertowel.
  2. Let the steak sit at room temperature.
  3. Preheat a grill pan until it is hot or use the BBQ when outside.
  4. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush the steak with a bit of vegetable oil and grill it on both sides until you get nice grillmarks. After turning the steak brush it once or twice with a bit of oil that it doesn’t dry out on the grill. (you can also add some herbs to the oil if you want)
  6. Alternatively you can also pan fry the steak.
Serve
  1. Let the steak rest for a few minutes on low heat before serving.
  2. Slice up the steak, season with sea salt and add the chimichurri sauce on top.
  3. This is an amazing dish you can put in the middle of a table as a sharing dish. Summer or winter. Enjoy.
