Paprika dry marinade for planted.steak

Ingredients

For the rub
2 tbsp
brown sugar
1 tbsp
paprika powder
1 tsp
curry powder
1 tsp
thyme
1 tsp
rosemary
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper seeds
1/4 tsp
fennel seeds
1/4 tsp
coriander seeds
For the oil
1 tsp
paprikapowder
50ml
vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Prepare and weigh all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Put the whole spices in a pan and roast them for 20-30 seconds.
  3. Crush the whole spices in a mortar.
  4. Mix all ingredients together.
  5. Separately mix the paprika powder with the oil in a small bowl.
Assemble
  1. Take the steaks out of the bag and pat dry them.
  2. Now you have the option to either marinate them as a full steak or cut them in cubes for skewers or in half to get thinner steaks.
  3. Place the steaks on a flat tray and season them generously from both sides with the rub.
  4. Massage the spices into the steak.
  5. Cover it with a foil and let it marinade for 2 hours.
  6. Straight before you put the steaks on the bbq brush a thin layer of paprika oil on the steak and grill It from both sides until you have nice grillmarks on the steak and the steak is heated till the middle.
  7. In between you can brush it once or twice with the paprika oil.
Serve
  1. Take the steaks off the grill and enjoy it with your favorite sides.
